Cookies we use
plankly_cookie_consent_v1
Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we stop asking.
_ga
Counts a returning browser so page views aren't double-counted. Only set after you accept.
_ga_<container>
Keeps track of a single visit (session state). Only set after you accept.
_gcl_au / conversion cookies
Measures whether a quote request came from a Google Ads click. Only set after you accept measurement.
__cf_bm
Bot-management cookie set by our infrastructure to keep the site available. Strictly necessary; set regardless of your choice.
Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, but we list it here because it does the same job.
What we don't do
- No remarketing audiences or social-media tracking pixels. Google Ads cookies are used only to measure conversions.
- No selling or sharing of analytics data with data brokers.
- No measurement cookies at all until you click "Accept analytics" — we use Google Consent Mode v2, which starts in denied mode.

Blocking cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu. Blocking them won't break anything on Plankly — the guides, quiz and forms all work fine without analytics.
